In an intense two-day meeting, the partners involved in the FoSaMed (Enhancing Food Safety in the Mediterranean) project - including INSA-UB professors and researchers - took stock of the activities carried out during the first year of the project. In addition to reviewing and refining the Master's program, they have outlined the Training of Teachers (ToT) and have also defined a series of online training activities for teachers who will teach in the Master's program.

We recall that the FoSaMed project is a European project whose main objective is to develop and implement a Master's program in Food Safety in 4 Moroccan universities, qualifying Moroccan academics to apply modern and innovative teaching methodologies, supporting the Moroccan Institutes of Higher Education (IES) in the design of this Master's program associated with the recovery and promotion of the traditional Mediterranean diet and short food supply chains, thus contributing to an inclusive higher education that integrates disadvantaged groups, such as women, rural populations and refugees, and gives them equal access to knowledge and the opportunities it brings. The University of Barcelona, the University of Évora and UNIMED are partners in this ambitious project.
