Effects of the pandemic on the diet and lifestyle of food science students and professionals

Several studies in different populations have shown that many people have adopted an unhealthy diet and lifestyle during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, how the pandemic affected eating, sleeping, physical activity patterns and lifestyle before and during the confinement of students and professionals from different food science disciplines, a specific population subgroup with expected expertise in food, health and lifestyle management, had not been analyzed so far.
