Travel Grants

In 2017, INSA-UB awarded 40 travel grants to stimulate and facilitate international mobility of its members, as well as to disseminate the research activities of the groups of the Institute. The awards have been distributed among 15 research groups, and 58% of them have been awarded to predoctoral researchers and members with non permanent positions.

These awards resulted in contributions and comunications to numerous meetings (VIII Workshop Sociedad Española de Probióticos y Prebióticos; Wine and Health 2017; 33 International Symposium on Microscale Separations and Bioanalysis; 253rd American Chemical Society National Meeting; 19th IWA-HRWM Symposium; Food Integrity 2017; 11th World Congress on Polyphenols Applications; XIV Congreso Nacional de Virología; 12th International Congress on Aeromonas & Plesiomonas; 13th International Society for Exercise and Immunology-ISEI Symposium; International Association of Food Protection-IAFP Annual Meeting; 10th Anniversary International Symposium on Immunonutrition 2017; 15th Euro Fed Lipid Congress; 38th International Union of Physiological Sciences-IUPS Meeting; 39 ESPEN Congress on Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism; XXI Reunión de la Sociedad de Química Analítica-SEQA 2017; 16th Human Proteome Organization World Congress-HUPO 2017; Mediterranean Diet and Health, in covering the expenses of 2 research stays at the University of Auckland and at the Centre Wallon de Recherches Agronomiques, and have also allowed the participation at the CloudMET 2017: Scientific School On Cloud-Based Metabolomics Data Analysis And Collaboration.
